In my work at the Rick and Susan Sontag Center for Creativity (the Hive), I design promotional brand materials to advertise our co-curricular programming to the Claremont Colleges. These materials include our programming calendar for each semester, event flyers for each workshop, and a t-shirt for the year. The 2021-2022 programming was focused on relaunching the Hive after coming back in person from the pandemic.
Programming Calendars
I designed the 2021-2022 programs for the Hive in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign based off of the previous programming calendars. These foldable programs feature images from the previous semester's events in black and white, a theme for the semester, contact info, and descriptions of all the events for the semester.
Event Flyers
These flyers were made to advertise the different events and workshops offered at the Rick and Susan Sontag Center for Creativity (the Hive) for the fall semester of 2021. Using the Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator and InDesign), I created these flyers based off of previous semester's branding combined with my own illustrations.
T-Shirt
To match with this year's theme of relaunching the Hive, I designed a t-shirt with a student staff member that incorporated a Hive rocket taking off. The shirt design was created in Adobe Illustrator and hand screen printed.
